Good news, bad news

Good news, we're all back from Dubai.

Bad news, both Milan and Quentin Quire showed up and decided to start a bit of an affray. We left Quentin in the custody of the authorities, Milan got away.

We're all fine, with the exception that I'm a bit banged up. Doc Voght says I'm off strenuous duty until this cracked rib heals, but it looks worse than it is.

As much as it galls me to say it, Laurie actually did rather well for herself given that she's been faffing about in Europe for the past six months instead of actually training.

Dude, Laurie was awesome. She had that whole Bond Girl Wannabe thing with the tankini and the having to hang on while I climbed the inside of that goddamn elevator shaft. (Also, WTF is up with elevators with no cables? How's that work?) Also with the letting me bleed on her, because that shit is gross.

Okay, that is kind of much ie: a whole lot better, then 'Discharge' I say we officially change my trainee name to 'Bond-aid' And you were pretty awesome yourself, by the way. No way could I have climbed up all that way, especially not carrying other person.

Really? I mean, we were all pretty awesome. Crystal with her first aid abilities, and the completely smacking that Quentin guy into walls. You getting us all 'unseen'. It was entirely a group effort of awesome.
