I'm hoping that the circumstantial evidence is wrong. That it is some sort of freakish coincidence that looks a whole lot worse than it is.

But it would be the height of irresponsibility to not take precautions. I'll say to you what I said to someone else tonight - even the chance that it might have been her warrants keeping the students well away until we can figure out what the hell's going on.

None of them are qualified to approach someone with Lorna's level of power who is, at the very least, having some sort of significant difficulty in that she's lying to the people who care about her and is God knows where.

As someone who's had one of these posts made about him... I hope to hell this isn't what it looks like. I really do.

But if there's any possibility that it is, the threat level Lorna poses is lethal. No precautions are excessive when it comes to the safety of our students. We have no business doing anything but erring on the side of caution.

Yes, you are very good at what you do. So are the Intel team, and the Command staff. We are trainees. We are appraised of team matters when and how the team leaders feel it is best, and yes, it is a courtesy. If there is something they feel we can add to the investigation, they ask for it. If there is something we feel we can add, we offer, and they take the help as they see fit.

You are not the only one who's worried about Lorna, as a friend, as a teammate, as a coworker. Hell, some of us even remember when she was our student.

It's not her. We all know this and it's hardly anything hard to construe, that we all know this.

She is missing and we can't find or get in contact with her as of yet. So, it's either a shape shifter or someone an illusionist or any other variety of impersonator. Or someone controlling Lorna directly somehow.

If it was her that was there. There are other magnekinetics out there, after all.

Still. There is no erring when going on the side of caution. We also all know that.

I support Scott's post on this in full. Period. We'll do all we can to find out what's going on. Obviously.

EMP to daze her. Aerosol delivery system of a tranquilizer to keep take her out and then keep her out while we figure out what's wrong with her.

Which likely wouldn't work unless we have control of the area in which this happens. Or a hell of a delivery system for both stages.

This is Lorna we're talking about, people. And I'm fucking terrified. If that is to be considered at hysterical and childish and whatever other fingerpointing there was, go for it. I know it was not, I know it was concern for a friend and wanting to do the best I could for her, and that's all that matters.

There's the telepathic option, too. I was her training partner - hell, I helped her with her psi-defenses - and if it comes to that, I could probably take her down without leaving her with more than a headache. Charles certainly could.
