I feel very accomplished.

Second test-flight with the 'Bird today, and she's flying like a dream. Sam, I think we can call my fall project a success. We're looking at about a 15% bump in fuel efficiency with the modifications to the afterburners, maybe a little more depending on flight conditions.
Now I suppose I decide what needs to be tackled next. Maybe a little interior remodeling. That at least won't make the plane unusable at any point, and we could really use a better cabin layout on some levels...
I've been thinking while I was finishing off the modifications, too... I think I'm ready to be back on active duty. Charles agrees, but I think I'll stick to a background role, at least for the next couple of things that come up, whenever and whatever they are. Just to make sure, and to give you all the chance to be sure, too. I just think I've sat on the bench for long enough.
