Mission Report ~ Rescue operation

Location: Wart on the butt of the uberboonies
Status: Bug eaten, sun fried and muddy. Some of us anyway.

That lead yesterday was gold, and we've finally located the FOH headquarters. It's on this run down old plantation in the middle of a swamp - building must have been a beauty in it's prime, but it's run down and pretty much ruined by now. Main access is by boat, but our reconnaissance swamp rats did the let's play in the mud thing this evening, and went in by the backways. Place has a few cameras, but mostly we're talking lookouts - they're dressed like locals, but the equipment (radios, rifles, Kevlar vests and low light goggles) is pretty high level stuff, military or police hardware, and in tip top shape.

We're heading in tomorrow.

Pps - Cyclops will be able to see this when he gets back, won't he?
Pps - Get those kids back before we wrap up the mission and I have to go get them myself, or heads will roll. Heads might still roll when I get back. Likely theirs.

This is going to be short. I'm sorry. Professor, if you want to pick stuff from my head when we get back, I'm fine with that. We're heading back now, left about five minutes ago.

The boy's dead. FoH shot him before we could get there on time. Reporter got the whole thing on tape. Not sure how's that going to work out, the guy - I'm not sure. Something was off there.

Also... we found Bobby while we were there. The real Bobby. Because the one that had been living with us before? That was Mystique. Somehow there was a switch at one point.

And I have to get back to Bobby now because he's not doing so good, so we can get more into details when we get back - we're on our way. I said that. Hank, have the medlab ready for when we get here. Bobby will need attention. Preferably make sure no one is there to goggle during the transfer, and get him a private and sealed room, please. No visitors until he says he wants some. He picks who. If you can, install some sort of screening system that will verify their identities before they can come in. He'll need that. Gotta go.
