Mission report: New York

Team members: Cyclops (lead), Psylocke (2nd), Cable, Polaris, Dazzler, Jetstream, Northstar, Phase

Intention: Retrieve Doctor Moira MacTaggart from the Mistra [see dossier #578] field team

Mission Status: Success. Partial success. Doctor MacTaggart was safely retrieved with only minor injuries, but Cable was compromised captured and did not return with the team.

Summary: Cable entered the warehouse under the pretext of trading himself for Doctor MacTaggart as the Mistra field commander had demanded. Jetstream successfully removed her from the premises and returned her to the jet. I ordered the team to enter the warehouse. Close combat ensued. [Individual reports will be appended ASAP.] Team members acquitted themselves very well, given the threat level faced.

Telepath on the Mistra field team then triggered an element of Cable's psionic conditioning. [See Psylocke's appended report.] Mistra field leader ordered Cable to demolish warehouse telekinetically. Cable obeyed. The Mistra team retreated under cover of the collapse.

Jetstream and Northstar were clear of the warehouse at the time and assisted in evacuation. Team regrouped at the jet and returned to the mansion.

Injuries: Mostly minor. Phase will be out of action for at least a week, due to a concussion.

Security issues: Serious concern. Cable's physical access to the school can be revoked easily enough. The information he could provide Mistra is another matter entirely.
