Status report

It's what, about 12:30? No sign of any trouble, security's green across the board, but I'm not standing us down just yet. I've got Cable doing regular scans of the grounds, since the Professor's occupied with Alison and Psylocke's unavailable, but I'm keeping a perimeter team out there at all times, too. We'll rotate in four hours; anyone who's not out there now and not injured, get some sleep because I will be calling you.

We'll reassess the situation at dawn.

We're coming up on the twenty-four hour mark...

Still nothing, so I think we're safe, at least in terms of an immediate follow-up attack. I want to keep us locked down for another twenty-four, though. No sense in taking any chances. I'll feel a lot better when we're two full days away from this and Magneto hasn't shown up at the door.

I'm going to stand down the perimeter patrol, at least until tonight. Those of you just coming off-shift, try and get some rest. Everyone else, stay alert and try to reassure any of the kids who look anxious. I'm going to try and catch a couple of hours sleep myself.
