Ororo and I have spent the last few hours discussing some changes we'd like to implement. In some cases it's going to be more of the same - we've decided that my training methods are worth keeping, for example. Although apparently I start practicing full disclosure about the point of each scenario and how it's connected to other scenarios, or I get a lightning bolt to the rear end. Fair enough.

We'll be continuing to focus on small-unit stuff, although we'll be doing more team-based exercises than before as well. The idea is to do away with the idea of structured teams and create a pool of available personnel that the team leaders can draw on for a mission's specific needs.

There were a few other minor points, most of which had to do with operational status and scheduling, which don't need to be mentioned right now. There was one other thing, though...

Oh, right. The big one. Ororo and I have decided that we need a third team leader + second.

Nominations, anyone?

And yes, this is an attempt to be democratic. I thought the team was run by committee anyway?

I nominate Alison as team leader, if she is willing.

I'll second that nomination.

I'll also nominate Haroun as second.

Alison and Haroun seem like good choices to me. Thirded?

I suppose...

I should mention something about those we considered as seconds for myself?

Both Kurt and Betsy were suggested during our discussion earlier. Would anyone have any comments as to either option?

Am... am I allowed to vote on this? Only being a trainee I mean?

You most certainly may.

Thank you, ma'am. I hope I don't disappoint you with my words.

I would have to vote Alison for first. She's done a heck of a lot stuff for this team, most of it unreconized and put under her being a "Devil Woman", and she's a great leader, even if she does it in a quieter, better way than most.

I haven't seen Haroun in action, so I can't fairly comment on that one. If I do come to a conclusion, I'll let you know.

There's an easy solution to that problem..

You get an hour or two free, email me.

I'll run us through the Danger Room. See what you can do, you can see what I can do.

Salaam,
Haroun

Oh look! Clearly there's been a little red glassesed (new word of the day) birdie listening to us. We have training together this week. Or several.

I think the bird is hinting at something.
