My only comment is that I'm starting to think the rule against doctors working with people you work and live with should apply to teachers in regards to the students they take. Mistakes happen, and always will, because nobody can be perfectly sane 24/7.

Seriously though, this kind of thing can be corrosive. If you're having some issues with it, you should talk to the Professor. On the force, we had specific counselors and officers there to deal with the damage these kinds of issues do to team cohension and the trust of your teammates. Xavier's probably the best subsitute for a specifically trained professional.
