Update

The mutant in the energy plant has been successfully extracted, and he is not an Iranian citizen. He will be resettled as agreed.

Meanwhile, all else did not go smoothly. The helicopter that was to evacuate Dominion, Storm, Blink, Sunfire and Juggernaut was destroyed before they could board it, and they made for the north. As far as we are aware, they all made their escape, but we have lost contact with them and do not know their precise location now.

Not an option, period. The invitation came with some pretty hefty caveats. No Blackbird doesn't mean no transportation, but we have to find them first.

So what you're saying is that we have five of our teammates and friends stranded - assumed alive - in the Middle East and someone agreed that we weren't going to be able to use all of our best assets to go retrieve them if something went wrong? All of this for picking up one mutant to resettle?

I take it back. There are worse things than politics.

The assumption of innocence is touching, really. I'll be on the comms. Someone contact me when there's an actual plan to get our team out from where they've been abandoned.

Forge, I know you're feeling righteous right now, but a kid was kidnapped because someone thought his power to extract impurities from metal meant he could produce uranium. Innocent or not, danger to teammates or not, they took a mutant to force him to use his power to make weapons for them.

How the hell can you argue about this?
