Kyle.

It was Sabretooth again; he managed to tell Amelia that when he called in to the infirmary. I would share further details but as I said, we don't have them yet and won't until Kyle's awake.

I don't want any of the kids leaving the grounds without an adult escort, at least until we know more. Hopefully no one will have any necessary trips tomorrow, but we'll see.

We've really got to do something about that bastard.

As soon as Kyle's awake enough to talk, I'll put together a threat assessment./

Sign me up for it.

So, we kill it with fire, right?

(Humor, albeit morbid. It keeps me grounded when a friend of mine gets eviscerated.)

I suppose, in more detail...

We need a plan. A good plan that preferably involves nobody getting in hand-to-hand range. Except maybe Cain, because he's invulnerable and all. I'd prefer not to see anyone else in the infirmary...

I just sent an email to Scott and Ro and Garrison about it, but I suppose it couldn't hurt to toss things around here too. So if you have ideas, speak up.

I would like to volunteer. I think Sabretooth would find it very hard to touch me, especially if there are other team members to draw his attention.

It depends on what kind of plan we need. Removing him permanently, or getting him somewhere that he can be locked up in some deep dark cell somewhere to where he's not a threat. I'm up for either. Had the opportunity to take him out of the game once, but Fearless Leader nixed the idea. I ain't one for second-guessing, though. I know the whole "X-Men don't kill" rule is there for a reason. I may not agree with it all the time, but whichever way this goes, count me in.

As much as I'd derive great personal pleasure from putting him down like a rabid animal, I think the nonfatal option, so long as the FBI has a way to contain him. Like you said, the "X-Men don't kill" is there for a reason.

Well, they did come up with a way to contain Magneto, I'd imagine they could come up with a way to contain Sabretooth.

But still, Magneto was hand-delivered to the authorities by the X-Men, I'm thinking Sabretooth may take the same sort of treatment.

It is a point in our favour, I think, that his powers are of no use to him at a distance.

And he cannot cut through metal, can he?

[identity profile] x-cannonball.livejournal.com 2007-01-22 12:50 am (UTC)(link)
Well, I don't know about imprisoning one of Magneto's people in a big metal box, but the part about at a distance is where my mind went. I'm thinking the only people we want in hand-to-hand range is someone like Cain.

You'll need people to clear the area, I think? If I'm following what you're planning. Like an advance team?

Is there a mission report on this incident? More details about what occurred and why could help us form a plan. Is this still about the Senator or just violence? I know the file on him indicates that he really doesn't care who he hurts so long as he can.
